About
I completed my PhD from University of Vienna, Vienna, Austria. I am a Himalayan geologist, nevertheless, my research interests also include evolution of sedimentary basins, stratigraphy, paleoclimatology and geomorphology related orogenic systems in the mountain environment with focuses on global environment change. I have gained reasonable experience on interpretation of sedimentary facies, modern river environment, carbonate petrography, paleoclimate analysis with the help of C & O isotopes, pollen analysis, and I have performed basin analysis by seismic data interpretation for the basin analysis. I have basic knowledge in Geo-Computing and various kinds of software. I had worked as a geologist in different parts of Nepal and the Indian Himalaya. Generally, I am enthusiastic, self-motivated and self-organized, and I can work in adverse condition and under pressure.
